Sequential

anyone seen a semiautomatic sequential thatll work for an a4 1.8? or even one of those manuals that just doesnt need a clutch pedal?

Nope, no one makes one for the Audi, but they do for the VW's.

Well that is if you wish to spend $15K+ for it.

If you knew anything about Audi

you would know that the Audi S3, A3, TT are all off of VW's plans for the GTI/Jetta/beetle, so they are nothing like the Audi A4 1.8t. So the fact still stands they dont make a setup for the Audi since the question was asked in a A4 forum.

it's also not a real seq. box, just a device that shifts the stock box sequentially for you

geez! its either a crappy manual 5 speed, or an even crappy tiptronic then?
im gonna go reseach to see if a porsche tiptronic can be fitted to an a4, or maybe just some internals can be swapped to beef up the a4's tip...

Have you ever admitted to being wrong?

Just curious. You said "no one makes one for the Audi" implying the entire Audi line, regardless of heritage or lineage. Then when shown that such a product does exist you crawfish on the whole deal explaining why you were really right all along. I've followed these forums for years now and you're a real piece of work. Truly amazing at times. The weather must be nice in your world.
