SpeedChip
What is the deal with these speedchips on ebay claim to increase HP by 15-20? I guess they fool the ECM into thinking there is constant cold air increasing the fuel mixture of something like that..Is there any value to these? DO they work?
I mean they are kinda cheap but Im not really performance savvy so I posted here to get some info.. thanks all.

Actually, he has a lot of options for tuning . . .
come visit the 12v development forum. Most people will feel surprised at how much hp we can squeeze out of 2.8l 12v motor with a stock chip. I make somewhere around 220-230hp, and I can comfortably run with to a B6 A4 3.0l.
Unfortunately, power on normally aspirated engines does not come cheap like it does on forced induction engines, but a gentleman by the account name of "UrS4" makes quite an extensive line of products for the 12v. He advertises on AudiWorld as "Abnormally Aspirated"; however, many of his best products have not made it onto his website.
His 12v project will likely clear 300hp with a stock chip and 350+ with a stand alone aftermarket ECU and modded AAH engine cams. If you want to learn, you need to pay attention to the 12v development forum and read along day-by-day to catch-on to the really cool stuff we have learned and developed.

12v Forum
