Default splicing into the electrical connection from the N75...

The wires comming from the N75 were very tight and rubbed on the PES hest shield. So, I spliced a 4" extension into each of these wires (1-red, 1-yellow). My question is, If I somehow change the resistance of the wires, will this alter the normal functioning of the valve? The car drives fine but I wanted to dounble check that I didn't f anything up.

Default As long as the wire thickness/type is the same or close to it(not smaller)....

it'll be fine. Connections matter too, crimps or soldering will do the job.

Default soldering and heat shrink tubing is the preferred method....

crimps have a bad habit of corroding.
