Ok now look at your 60 ft time, on your second day
you dropped .2-.3 seconds off from your first day. That alone is good for .4-6 seconds at the finish line. But your mph is better on the second day which says your exhaust is flowing much better and you have less back pressure at the top end. This was gained by removing those corks.

I see...
interesting thing is that the car is the tiptronic. On 3rd yellow, I floor it, brake-torqued at 2300rpm. All I can do. Why I picked up .2 secs on the 60' was interesting to see as I dont know why that would have improved. I can see that how the 3mph gain thru the trap is due to the removal of the "corks".
What's your prediction once the stock muffler corks come off too and are replaced with Magnaflows? Should be within the next week or so.

It could be the way you staged at the lights.
If you shallow stage you get more run before you release the beam, this will drop your 60 ft time. If you get deeper into the stage lights the tire will release the beam, this will make the 60 ft higher. This is another way to cut a better reaction time and get your timing down with the lights.

there are two sets of staging lights....
as I creep the car inch by inch the first set lights up, and then I inch forward one or two more inches until the 2nd set of staging lights brighten. Upon 1st yellow I get on the gas and bring the rpms up to the torque converter lockup at 2300rpm, when 3rd yellow comes on, I go.
Is that staging too deep? Can I stage at the 1st set?

There is a 6" gap between the 2 lights. This gives you about a
12" margin since you wont trip the beam till your tire releases the stage lights. If you deep stage you have about a 1-6" roll, where as if you shallow stage you have almost a full foot of roll before your ET even starts.
What you want to do is hit the prestage light and bump in enough to see the stage light blink on and off, then move 1" forward to set the stage light. With your auto this is very easy, it is harder with a stick because you can back out of the lights if the car rolls back at all, if that happens you get a DNF and no time on the slip at all.
