Default torque issue with apr chip

I called the apr dealer in my city, and they told me that since I have a 2004 CVT, the car can be a max of 250 torque, and the Stage I is exactly 250 torque.

Would running at the max torque be very bad for the car? Would it decrease the life of the car?

Default Shorten the life of the trans, but one thing you can do is try not to

get on it hard where you make your peak tq. You could also decrease the adv timing in the lower rpms to also decrease the tq at that point.

Ah.. that sounds good. I think I'm gonna do the trial for 6 hours. They said it's $45 for the trial. Usually trials are "free". Am i being ripped off? Or is that just labor costs?

Most likely just labor cost to load it.
