Tranny question...

How much torque is the stock 1.8T 5spd gearbox capable of holding before strengthening it is required? I was just curious with some of the turbo kits coming out that can potentially exceed 400hp.

Lucas, I know your car is pumping out some large numbers. Did you do anything to your gearbox or driveline to make it capable of holding all the power?

You actually need the torque rating of the gearbox, not horsepower.
