Turbo Timer
#2
FWIW, do a turbo timer to circulate water thru engine till it cools. I wouldnt run the entire car as
that really just allows the impeller to spin down. Putting in an inline water pump tied to the turbo timer allows me to pump water thru the entire engine, and turbo for 3-4 minutes which greatly reduces engine and turbo heat. It was really easy to do and the water pulp just mounts inline and forces water thru on the loop, it can also be tied to the fans to assist in underhood cooling. I find this to be much more effective in controlling heat than idling the car. Besides mine is a manual which makes after run stupid.

Sounds like a very interesting idea... but if the engine is off, the oil pump won't be pumping oil
through the lines... I guess coolant is more important to pump into the turbo though. Where did you locate the secondary water pump? Driver's side into the radiator?
