Upgrade tips

Hello guys!!I would like to ask you which way would you prefer in order to upgrade a non-turbo car eg.A3 1.6 (16v) or POLO GTi 1.6 (125bhp/6500,16v). Do exhaust pipes really cause any difference or just create noise??Thank you,

P.S.would an Abt chip make significant difference??

Exhausts do make a diff

An after market exhaust would usually help improve power output and fuel economy. There are aftermarket exhausts that are about as quiet as the stock units and which still improve the flow.
