I got about 650 miles on it so far.
That's what it was before I put the new motor in, that's what it's at now.
FWIW, I have ~160psi in my cylinders with 9.0:1 compression. I have a feeling that if I had a new head versus my high-mileage (90K+) head, that number would increase.
I gotta get a longer allen key or socket and really crank down the intake manifold. Maybe my over used gasket is showing its signs...it looked fine when I looked at it right before re-using. I cant hear any leaks from anywhere...pretty frustrating...checked all the gauge lines too. Does the vag show the vacume at all?
You could try spraying some Ether (starting fluid) around some of the gasket joints and see if the idle rises at all. If it does, then there is a leak in the area you are spraying.
I guess you could try a new intake gasket if you reused the old one, I put all new ones on mine, it was worth the peace of mind.
