Yet another 2.0 conversion update.....
It's in (sans timing belt):
<a href="http://johnbaas.dyndns.org/2point0/audi_eng_in.jpg"><img src="http://johnbaas.dyndns.org/2point0/audi_eng_in_lo.jpg"></a>
I still have a couple of things to take care of:
1. Timing belt
2. Turbo plumbing
3. Downpipe
The K03 is sitting on top, and you can roughly see the angle it use to sit at. I had to hack the wastegate actuator mount to get it to sit where it's at now.
I'm not sure if I want to mount the turbo like this, or like stock. If I leave it like it is, it should make it easier to run tubing for a FMIC.
If I mount it in the stock postion, I need to fab a new wastegate mount since the wastegate actuator needs to stay in the position it's at. The bonus of mounting it in the stock position, is I should be able to use the stock outlet hose (one less part to fab up)

Looking good John. BTW that K03 looks like a little terd, lol. Also are you putting in...
the clutch yourself or is some one else doing it? Do you have the clutch alignment tool? Do you even need it? I changed the clutch on my mustang and needed the alignment tool so I am just curious that's all. Otherwise it looks really awesome. Looking forward to seeing some VAG logs after you start running full boost. :-D

I had the motor out of the car, so it was pretty easy to do the clutch.....
I didn't use a clutch alignment tool at all, just looked in and made sure it was centered. It takes an extra minute or two, but it's not too difficult.
