Electronic Stabilization Control Error
I was driving down the street yesterday in my 2019 Q3 and I noticed the MMI screen was off. A few seconds later the Electronic Stabilization Control idiot light flashed yellow on my dash and the car felt like it would not shift gears and was crawling down the road. Thankfully I was just down the street from my house. I turned the car off and restarted the car and drove it around and it did not happen again so far. The manual says this can happen if I hit something slippery and the car is purposely slowing down to avoid an accident but I did not feel anything slippery on the street. This is in Southern California and there was no ice on the road. I'm wondering if it could be a malfunction?
