Jumpy Acceleration...
Any other Q3 owners experiencing the same unintended, jumpy acceleration?

Any other Q3 owners experiencing the same unintended, jumpy acceleration?
TIA
What's the car's history and when did it first occur?
Maybe a transmission reset would help - With car parked and off, press the acceleration pedal down all the way, then turn the ignition to on position (without starting the engine). Hold it for about 30 seconds, then turn off and release the pedal. Wait a few minutes then start the car and drive.
Thanks for the reply!
The RPM's don't go up without pressing on the pedal. This unexpected acceleration is when I am moving from a start and a couple of seconds into routine acceleration, it lunges forward without any additional input on the pedal - sort of like turbo lag when you are intending to move a bit quicker - but I am not intending to do so.
The car was purchased new in July 2024 and there are no other issues with it. It's a great car!
I will look into the transmission reset - didn't know that was a thing. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll report back.

I did the reset just now and it seems to have modified the normal shift points - in a good way.
Time will tell about the jumpy acceleration, as it only happens occasionally and randomly.
If it continues to happen I'll definitely bring it up at my 1 year service. It's been my experience, that this type of vague, but real, issues that only happens every now/then rarely gets resolved at a dealership. Still, I'll mention if it continues to occur.
This reset may have done the trick.
Thanks again for the reset info.
