Does the shifter in a 2016 Q3 have any words on the top? I thought I remember seeing S tronic on the top part underneath the clear plastic when I test drove the2015 model.

Mine does not, it is plain black. I have the S-Line, but not with the additional sport package.

I don't have sport package either. I would if they didn't require me to get the black headliner.

Even when I googled it, I see the s tronic word on the shifter.

US version does not have a S-Tronic transmission son it could not say it on the shifter

what you see in google are versions outside US
