Hello!!
I have a 2012 A4 and I'm considering trading it in for the 2014 Q5. Any reason I should wait? Is there a substantial refresh for 2015 model? Will the interior change?
Audi reported that the second generation will debut in 2016 when their Mexican factories are ready to go. I hope that's true.

MY2017 will be produced in Mexico in 2016.
That's my guess.

All other things being equal, I'd rather have a car come from Germany than Mexico, but we have a '09 Jetta GLI which is a Mexico car, and it now has 38K miles on it. No real issues, been a great all around car. I've heard all the stories about the south of the border cars, but haven't experienced it personally.
Hell, I had one of the last Golfs built in Pennsylvania many years ago and it was a great car...

I wouldn't recommend buying year one of a new model - Especially considering that new model will be coming out of a new factory that will likely have some teething issues.
To me, buying now means 3+ years of immunity to new car envy.
