Ordered a 2012 Q5 3.2 w/nav etc. Won't be here until July so trying to get geared up. Bought a couple SD cards and reader. Have been trying to export music from my itunes playlists but not there yet. Only way I can get the stuff on the SD card is drag or copy and then instead of a specific playlist I get the entire library. Maybe I need to hire an 8 year old to help me.

I may be in the minority here but to my completely untrained and uneducated ears I'm not impressed with the B&O system. It pains me to say that because my Q is so equipped and like everyone else I paid extra for it. I had a 2012 Q5 loaner with the stock audio and thought it sounded equally as good or perhaps even better than the B&O. The Monsoon system in my 2004 Touareg sounded vastly better than the B&O to my ears.
I'm no audiophile and it could very well be that my music files are too compressed or i havent properly tuned the system to my preferences but that's my two cents. Other folks here love it so it may just come down to personal choice. If I were in your position I wouldn't let it be a deal breaker either way.

Best OEM stereo I've ever had. Blows away the crappy Bose that came in my 2004 S4 and the even crappier one in my 2001 S4. Also better than Volvo and Merc I've had in the past. I compared both and the B&O sounds tighter (distortion better controlled at volume) and had much better spatial placement than the stock stereo. The B&O bass, while not blowing my socks off, is pretty decent. However, sound is subjective. Go to the dealer, try it out and see what it does for you.

I've had both. My '09 was without B&O, the 2011 has B&O. There is a definite difference for those that have heard and/or had both, and if I were to order new (which I seldom do) it would be a must.
That said, if someday I'm 'shopping' again and find a Q5 that has all my required options but no B&O I would still consider it. I think the standard system is also good.
