Default Different rotor size for '011 Q5

So on the Zeckhausen site there are two rotor sizes listed. I have the S-Line and yet it has the smaller rotor size 320x30mm Front Rotors vs the other size listed 345x30mm Front Rotors.

Anyone have an idea as to what Q5 has the larger rotors?

I'd give Dave a call. He knows more about brakes than anyone and besides, he's fun to talk to! Ask him how his beer fridge is doing

I have checked and the Audi Q5 are two sizes
There are two rotor sizes and the ETKA catalog:

8K0 615 301M 345X29.5MM (vented)
Rear:

8K0 615 601C 330X22MM (vented)

Thanks spijun - I wonder if there is a different bracket then but the calipers are the same.

Here as I promised to see pictures and compare the codes
I currently do not have time, but I do not see any differences

I found the difference in a 320x30mm disc calliper carrier 8K0 615 125 set 2 pieces
and the disk 345x29, 5mm is the calliper carrier 8K0 615 125 A left and 8K0 615 126 right

Sorry to dig up an old thread... just curious if Reggie went through with the larger caliper carriers?

It appears that the larger rotors (and caliper carriers) were meant for the Q5 3.0 TDI (which isn't available in the US). Furthermore, rotor sizes seem to match up to the S4. Not sure if the offsets for the rotors are the same? If they are the same, we might be also able to use 2-piece rotors meant for the S4 (provided the larger caliper carriers were used)?

Spijun, can you help me find out if the dust shields (item 9 - cover plate for brake disc) have the same part number for every engine (2.0T / 3.2 / 3.0TDI)?

This might be a good alternative to improving braking performance without going all out on a BBK (upgrading both front and rear to preserve braking balance). Any input/suggestions?

Thanks!!!

Cover plate for brake disc is the same on all models of Audi (A4, A5, A6, A7) not only Q5.
8K0 615 311D cover plate for brake disk left
8K0 615 312D cover plate for brake disk right

On the German forum I read that someone just put larger disk without changing other parts

Maybe Reggie can help if he changed disks??
