many of the dvd audio discs i have wont advance witht the track button while driving.. u have to stop to do it.
beatles love wont play at all. (dvd audio) not very good over all imho.. sound is terrific when it works.
i havd an aftermarket dvd player in my last car that did everything including streaming bluetooth.. sorry but this system is pretty lame (other than the sound quality when it does work)
once home though I tried it and started reading the manual and it would only play a very few types of music.... not even mp4 !!!! so I returned it...
in our case, we've gotten the ipod's to play it all in the Q
(once I get by the horrible itunes program
)Did you say if these were original disks ? or copies ? How about the region on them ? us or otherwise ?

Many DVD-A disks have several different coding tracks (as do many different video DVD) and you can choose which one you wish to play. Looking though the doc that came with my MMI there is nothing to indicate that DVD-A is supported (the same is true with SACD). Just as with Bluetooth streaming. Of course this is not necessarily true for the MMI specs north of the border.
Finally (just a guess) I suppose that the DVD player gets confused when changing tracks and the software that prevents video from playing when you driving, gets confused when the tracks change, and that is why you have to stop to change tracks.
