Don't worry--it'll be so worth it when the time is right. I can't wait until it's fully broken in and it's over that 'block learning' phase. I also want to try going head to head with some A4/5s and see how the Q holds.

I think it would be interesting to now go head to head against a 3.2FSI Q5.

I imagine it would be pretty close. I don't think I'd win against your 3.0 TDI though . I wish we had them in the U.S.

I took a couple videos of the Q5 2.0T with GIAC dragging against a Q7 3.0 Supercharged. I feel it mostly has to do with weight that the Q5 triumphed, but have a look and let me know what you think.

First video was a three honk race from 70km/h, the second was a drag from a traffic light with a crappy start but the Q5 caught up.

And again, my apologies, my videos are terrible quality.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. The 3.0TDI is quite rapid when you get stuck into it but I suspect your chip'd 2.0TFSI would be a match.

I don't know. The 0-60 for the Q5 3.0 TDI is clocked at 6.5 seconds, while the stock 2.0T is clocked at 7 seconds. Not sure if the tune alone can shave off 0.5 seconds, but if it did that'd be incredible.

Since I have the switcher, I was able to test stock and tune performance back to back. For me, I don't really feel much until 2500-3000 rpms. Not sure if anyone else feels the same way.

And Birdman, awesome comparative vids. Any idea what your new 0-60 time is?

Make sure it actually switched then

because the torque down low is the best part of the tune that I notice

I do recall you had to 'mate' the switcher to the car the first time...

I think the only way to find out for sure is to get it Dynoed (sp?). If REVO screwed me with this...I'm getting GIAC.

I've had some crappy 0-90km videos, I'll try and get a real 0-100 and use that brake stand launch control that was mentioned.
