Paddle shifters for 2.0

Yes, you can get the wheel with the paddle shifters on it, and as the 2.0T has the tiptronic tranny, they will work, but I'm pretty sure you have to have the car VAG'd to do so.
If you are interested in purchasing a new wheel with shifters I would look at EuroPrice to do it. Great products & customer service from Alex over there.

You can get the stock Q5 S-line wheel or upgrade to one of the flat-bottoms if you like. He'll let you know which one's fit and will work for you.
I'd say the paddle shifter thing is a personal choice. I really don't care for them, but some people love them. After 20 years of driving nothing but a manual transmission, I would rather hold the shifter in my hand to do it if I'm running in the Tip mode.

I got a quote from Eurporice but I ended up finding one on ebay for about 1/2 the cost. I purchased a 4-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters off of ebay and I'll be able to re-use my airbag (which drops the cost substatially). The cost on ebay with shipping for a new 4-spoke multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters was $360 US.
So -- now, I'm looking for instructions on how to swap the stock 4-spoke steering wheel with the new 4-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters.
Also, I am looking for the VAG-COM coding to enable the paddle shifters on a 2012 Q5. I noticed that there is a steering wheel module, so I imagine that is the place to do it. I've reached out to Ross-Tech to ask if they know what the coding is, but if anyone on here knows, that would be helpful in case Ross-Tech does not know.
