Problem with SD card.

I wonder if anybody has seen a similar problem with the SD card reader in the MMI.
I have an SD card loaded with music. It worked fine for a long time on my previous Q5 and my current but recenlty it will work fine and then all of the sudden it will display some tracks as damaged. If I remove the card and put it back in the track that supposedly was damaged will play fine, but then after a while it will break again. These broken tracks are grayed out. I'm trying to figure out if my SD card is going bad or it is the MMI.

One thing to try is copy your card back to your computer, then copy the music files to a new SD card. If that works fine then reformat your old SD card for later use. SD cards are dirt cheap, less than a $1 per GB.

Also I hope he is not using one of the mini sd cards with an adapter - those connections get bad after a while

Nope, just a regula SD card.

I copied stuff before to the comupter from this card and it worked fine. I will buy another card and try it.
