Q5 repair manual...
I've been searching for a repair manual for the Q5 and haven't been too successful. Anyone have one? If so, can you tell me where I can get a copy?
This is much better.....

This is the best resource I found: http://www.alldatadiy.com/index.html
I do prefer paper but, I have not found a paper copy anywhere.
Some super minor downsides....
1. I takes about 3 hours to copy the data from the DVD to the hard drive during the installation, so this is something you need to do before you can use it.
2. To install in English you need to follow the well writen installation guide perfectly and then it may still launch in German. The easy fix is to go to the Control Panel/Regions and Language and select English (UK) and it solves that problem, but it changes Windows to the British versions of time, currency, date format, etc, you just use the manual and then change back to English (US), no issue at all.
3. It has a conflict with PC Tools Perfromance Tool Kit and PC Registry Mechanic, but you can find other great Registry cleaners. If you use these two I believe that they are trying to say it corrupts the Audi manual install if you run the applications.
4. The manual nomenclature is in British terms, Bonnet(hood), Nm in place of Ft-lbs, etc. but I did see that where there are differences in actual systems, such as, the fuel tank it lists two different versions one UK and the other US, this is nice.
5. You need to figure out what exact model vehicle you have by some Audi code inputs (engine, trans, axle, engine, etc.), this returns the correct data for your vehicle.
The Pluses are....
1. It's a great investment for less than $20, I received it in 3 days here in the US from the UK.
2. I works with Windows 7, 64 bit.
3. It covers all the Audi models, not just the Q5.
4. Has all the current TSBs with nice photos, not just test.

I have a subscription to alldata. They dont have my 2011 but when they do you can switch the subscription from my 2009. I used to subscribe to alldata for our repair shop so I knew it would be helpful with diagrams. Plus the TSB's and recalls are constantly updated.
I just ordered Elsawin disk on ebay thanks Bob.

Just make sure that you print out the 48 page installation guide, read it 3-4 times and let it sink in before you do the install. It goes easy if you take your time.
