For the carpets in the car, I use the same mix but in a higher concentration and brush the calcium spots with a carpet brush. After, I rinse the mix as much as I can with clear water and suck it dry with a shop vac. This removes all the stains but you need to do it several times for the calcium build ups.

However the receipe for cleaning the mats was used on for different vehicles: Honda Accord, Jeep Grand Cherokee limited, Dodge Caravan, and a Mazda Protegé (all my previous cars...) And it worked great with all of them. Of course on the mats made of fabric. For the rubberized ones, I normally clean them using mild soap, and for tough spots, I spray a little bit of wheel cleaner. Outside of the car of course!
