Do you know which engine your Q5 has?

The cars have a short term memory display and a long-term memory display? Are you familiar with using them?
The OP has the same engine as every 2018 q5 a4 a5 in USA are you from outside the NA? That’s the only way this question makes any sense.

My wife gets 24 mpg in Houston rush hour traffic. I just took the Q5 on a 500 mile round trip. No interstate, all state highways. Speed limits from 35 to 75. Frequent bathroom/food breaks. 800 pounds of people and 150 pounds of luggage. Tested MPG at the pump and averaged 29.6 mpg. Very happy with that.

Just for another point of reference, my SQ5 gets ~24 on the highway. Loaner Q5 got about 26.5 highway. Most of the time between 70-90mph.

Apologies for this sort-of thread creep. I get pretty good mileage on my 2018 2.0 T. But that's based on the computer readings. 3 different times I manually checked my mileage, and each time they showed .5 mpg less. So, I guess the computer is lying, a bit.

There are a few threads on this (including one I started about 9 months ago). As my Q5 has aged the highway mileage has improved, but city mileage is still not-so-hot.
The computer errs to the high side for mileage (at least 1/2 mpg but sometimes closer to 1 mpg).

My first fill up I got 24.97 mpg all city. I am headed on a several hundred mile all highway trip tomorrow and will calculate that consumption.
