If you have adaptive air suspension all you need is a vagcom / vcds or you can get the h&r lowering module. If you have standard suspension you should go with coil over suspension upgrade. Lowering springs will result in a pogo stick effect where your Q7 bounces down the road.
The Orca Black Q7 with California plates has spacers installed. If I recall correctly they are 23mm Front & 30mm Rear. (The most common is 18mm Front 23mm Rear.)

4.5-5hrs labor + 4 wheel alignment.
then another 4.5-5hrs labor removing them a few weeks later and then installing coilover suspension and then selling the springs for 60% off what you paid for them new. so skip the springs and do the right thing or leave it stock.
