Wife's drivers seat leather is starting to crack/break. Anyone have suggestions to fix or keep from getting worse? Can't seem to find a replacement that isn't from a junkyard and looks worse - maybe someone here knows a better source?

that looks a lot more like vinyl cracking than leather tears. Leather doesn't have a mesh backing on it....

Best option would be to remove the whole seat and have it reupholstered at a local shop/place. Depending on the pricing/skill, they should be able to make a custom leather cover in a matching shade that goes on top of the existing ones.

Only the top most Premium cars had full leather seats for 2007-2009. My '07 4.2 Premium has full leather, whereas my '07 3.6 Premium does not. You can see a color difference between the leather seating surface versus the vinyl thigh bolsters. I am going to get my 3.6 driver seat reupholstered in leather eventually.

Yep, my '08 had vinyl bolsters... seems strange these days looking back.

I am having the same problem and might try the 3 M Vinyl and leather repair kit.
