Has anyone found the sunglass holder on the 2010 Q7s useful for anything other than reading glasses? This is completely wasted space on the car and I am very interested in doing something with it since I'm not using it for anything else.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Neither my wife's nor my Oakleys fit in that. Not sure what I can use it for, extra mag storage for my Ruger maybe, lol.

I selected custom frames at Costco, and had polarized non-Rx lenses put in them. They fit perfectly in my Q7 and S5 sunglass holder.

If you do not want to keep glasses there you can keep pen or wallet or purell etc.
For me a spare set of glasses worked just fine.

in .357 sig fits really well with slight mods.

I've been thoroughly disappointed with the storage in my Q7. It is both underwhelming in design and inadequate in use.

While my sunglasses do not fit in this particular compartment, my standard glasses do. The problem is getting them out again....
