Yes. It is an easy install. It’s absence means your Q7 has never pulled a trailer!

🤫 probably hasn’t done much of anything...it’s in peach condition.. anyway, I usually tow with my truck, but the Q has more tow capacity than my truck! I do not have a tow hitch on the 2012, and was about to until the emissions piece came out and I figured I would wait to find a replacement Q with a hitch.. seems I have....

Congrats on the new vehicle. Be sure to post pictures once you have it.

based on that guide the only reason I would have to move up is to get something with lower mileage.
Specs on the current Q7:
2012 Audi Q7 Prestige - ~68,000miles
Air Suspension
Cold Weather Package
Warm Weather Package
Towing package

To complicate the search for a 2015 model, the wife only wants black or blue - so far I haven't located one with all these options

Yeah finding a used one with Air Suspension is going to be difficult, and in the least two popular colors is going to be a double whammy..

Took me 2 months to find one w/AAS, then I had to fly across a few states to take delivery and drive it home.. I'd of loved to get it in Blue but I had given up on getting color at that point..

In a newer model you can get Adaptive Cruise Controll, interior LED accent lighting on door sills, and they still have working 3G MMI Radio's that can also use AT&T as well as T-Mobile.. and the engine is much more tunable.. (280hp vs 330hp w/aftermarket tune)

yeah, we bought this one used and had to go 2 states away (~ 5 hours) to get it (we took a train and drove it home) - same difficulty when we were looking then because of the options we wanted
I thought this already had the adaptive cruise and 3G radio.....not sure on the door sill lighting, not sure what that looks like

I've found a few that have everything she wants but are lacking a heated steering wheel - is this something that can be changed?
Also we haven't had any trouble with the AAS and I like having it but would there be any big reason to move to the standard suspension? would open up the options....

Managed to track one down, 2015 and has all the options she had before plus B&O sound system and Luxury Package. We pick it up Saturday as long as all goes well (4 states away this time)

Still waiting on a date from Audi on the buyback of the 2012
