280 hp vs 333 hp engine
Is there a physical difference between the two engines? Or is it just factory tuning to get more power stock?
Looking at a few gassers, and the 280hp version is a lot more abondent, but also looking to tune it once I get it....APR doesn’t distinguish between the two models, Unitronic doesn’t have a tune and Malone can’t tune the newer 2012+ models....
what am I missing?

physically..
the engines are the same...tuning is the difference. I talked with a German Audi engineer and he told me they have gotten 450 or more HP out of that engine, of course reliability goes down under those situations as people tend to flog them harder.
