So I had the Amber ENGINE light pop on.
I ran a scan to see whats up, posted below.

I was away and the car sat from Feb. 28 until April 7, in which I understand things can happen, like the brakes seized on it, but didn't expect this much. But I figure this is the cause to such codes.
I have not ran a scan since March 2018, had no issues or reason too.

I cleared codes and ran scan again, 5F only remains tripped, my suspicion it is from a faulty activation code in updating MMI and NAV bacj the end of last year, anyone have ideas or experience on this?
As for 01, I will have to monitor it closely to make sure that it doesn't become a bigger issue. Could this be caused from the same?
I appreciate any advice or thoughts!

Check engine lights or EPC fault lights are always directed to power train faults and not triggered by other sub module faults in your car as these are seen as non detrimental. Your scan showed the date for the engine fault as yesterday and thats when you experienced the engine light so it was the cause. The EVAP has to do with emissions control for the engine, fuel vapour, crankcase gases etc. since the pump detected a leak it will need to be rectified as the leak wont fix itself bud. You will need to check the evap lines and the pump for a split hose etc.hope this helps.

So I think what I am picking up is that the EVAP was the cause of the light illuminating? Which would have happened just when the light came on?
The light actually came on while out and about the morning before, I did not have a chance to run VCDS until dated and then again to view them and interpret them until today.
I would check the lines from the tank forward, or from the motor back? Not familiar with these faults.

I don't know, but I will ask at my next service coming quickly, under 1,000. I do know that it is not listed under my CarFax.
After the reset, I have driven around town with no issues, crossing fingers for a fluke, always!

During my travels abroad, renting tiny cars and fitting them into parking spaces they don't even fit into for over a month, first thing back in my saddle and I rail a F*&n curb so hard parking my wife almost ****!
Going to find a refurb for now, but by the next tire change, I'm going to fat and tall tires like yours!

saw it on here a while back for the 3.0 Gas, housing cracks or something and lets air in.. could see that throwing off evap system cuz it can detect a fuel cap not tightened.. search around and you'll find the TSB i'm sure

either way evap is not going to cause any long term issues if its not working, at least not for the car..

hah yeah I looked at those 20's and said to my self, they wont last a winter here w/our potholes.. perfectly designed to be a curb magnet.
