Anyone else with "Check Navigation DVD" error?
Four times in the last week while driving, the Nav system stops working and gives me that error code. If I stop, shut off the engine, then restart, the Nav works again. Is this worth taking to the dealer or should I wait until it's totally broken and won't restart after shutting off the vehicle?

Try taking the DVD out of the back, and seeing if there's anything wrong with it. Sometimes it might just be condensation, or dirt that might've gotten on the disc surface.

That happened on my A6
The dealer replaced the unit under warranty. In my case, I would get the "Check Nav" error message every once in a while. Then it started getting more frequent, so I took it in.
If it's bothering you, I'd call your dealer about it.

This has happened to me several times, and I soon realized that it's tied to environmental......
conditions involving a cold vehicle and humid air - ergo, condensation is the likely problem. In all cases, after the car warmed up, the problem disappeared. It has not risen to the point of a real irritant to me, and I haven't remembered to ask the dealer about it. Don't know if there's a service bulletin.
