Audi Q7 2008 sds and mic issue
Hi i apologise if this has already been covered...i recently had my bluetooth module replaced after it failed for my car which is mmi 2g. Whilst the bluetooth telephony never worked the speech dialogue button on the steering wheel, when pressed gave a please say a command' however following the replacement of my Bluetooth module the telephony aide of things works however the person on the other end cannot hear me at all and when i now press the speech dialogue button it comes up with 'button not used' the mmi settings indicate the speech dialogue system as greyed out..are the two linked? I.e. mic and sds. The vcds suggests that everthing has been coded in and entered correctly and no faults with voice or bluetooth system..
Please help!!
Please help!!

I don't think they coded the bluetooth correctly. It should be the same as this thread, but it's ROW for you instead of US.

Well, i took the car to the technician today and one by one he went through all the codes and could not get the mic working or the SDS feature back up and running, then finally after going through all the steps detailed in the following thread https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a8-.../#post25029384 (thanks louis) and taking the code back to 100900 once i again, I decided to reset\restart the MMI (holding the car button, main **** and right top button for 2 secs and letting go,) immediately after the Code accepted message and BINGO. everything works.
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.

Glad you got it working... Like I always said, most of problems may cause by operator errors or unable to follow some odd instructions :-)

The original data is 100900, then I change it into 100970. Do I need to reset MMI now? After 100970, I change it back to 100900. Do I need to reset MMI immediately?
