Default Audi Q7 Headlight Warranty

Hello All,

Does anyone think that Audi will warranty the front passenger headlight on our 2014 Q7 for crazing of the clear headlight plastic? Vehicle is 15 months old and has 17k miles on it. Driver side seems to be unaffected.

Thanks.

Steve

I think it should be covered under the 4 year warranty. Talk to your dealer.

They should cover it under your 4 year warranty as long as the vehicle hasn't been in an accident or modified.

Good luck. I had the same problem, took it to the dealer and Audi denied the claim. Only 20k miles and 3 years old, still under warranty.

What was Audi's reasoning for not honoring your claim?

Probably. That's ridiculous. Yet not surprising.

I agree, it seems like something they'd do. Seems like the luxury brands always seem to find a loophole. I guess all car brands do though.

They said it was wear and tear and would not cover them. The only way they change them would be of the were taking on water.
