Default Def consumption post fix

Last filled with 2.5 gal after the 400 mile warning. Now after 1600 miles I have the 1000 mile warning. The pump was replaced once post fix and I'm sure I am in the same place again. Fix was done one year and 16,000 miles ago. Anybody having similar issues?

The problem was not the pump, "Sensors were reading off, added adblue to blue to system and recalibrate system level meter as needed." Picked it up yesterday and the knocking and the noise has returned which i had cleared up with a BG 245 application a few months ago. Seems like this fix may have a future of being problematic.

Driving the gas version loaner I determined it will never be in my future and the $78 K sticker makes it even more convincing. Pretty vehicle though.

Our Q7 TDI is still untouched and will not be getting the “fix” done.

Guy's that are foregoing the fix, are you still under factory warranty?

Nope, that’s done. My daily driver which is also a diesel has 477k on it and still going strong. I have been keeping ahead on maintenance and she has been good to me. I have been doing the same on the Q7, but I do have a separate fund just in case for incidentals.

Either way, by the looks of it, the people who need the extended warranty more are the folks that got the fix done with all the issues reported. Who knows how the fix will be long term. Seems very problematic.

Seems like everyone is patting backs on not getting 7-10k and shelling out 1k to turn it back to stock. Just seems a little odd to me, but then again that's just my opinion. Truck on guys!
