Default It finally happened..

The dreaded door ding. I was sitting in the car waiting for wifey food shopping when the Mensa member collecting shopping carts let one get away and bang! Right into my rear door/ wheel well. The only thing that saved this guy from physical harm was my 8 yr old son who was also in the car with me. I hope it can be pulled out without the need to paint the car. I try so hard to keep her safe and dent/ scratch free with front and rear bumper guards, parking in big safe spots and garaged overnights. Price you pay for living in NYC with people who don't give a fu$k..trying to upload a pic without luck.

Sorry. Now take a deep breath and relax. :-) I drive my wife's former daily driver now since she got the Q7. It's a 2006 A6. It served five years of grocery getter service and it had it's share of dings. I quit asking how they happened because it was ALWAYS a mystery. :-) Last week I took it to a paintless dent removal guy and left it for TWO days. Magic!!! $300.00 and it's perfect. I dare anyone to find where they were. Some of these guys are really good. Do your homework and choose carefully. You'll be glad you did and you won't dread the next occurrence so much.
Now if I could do something about the scratches from setting purses on the trunk lid :-)
