Default front license plate holder

Anybody have experience with this bracket? I searched for other posts, but most cover the frame, not the bracket. I am in the United States, so some of the Euro options are not in the cards for me.

No Holes License Plate Bracket

Thanks

So I take it you don't have the US plate bracket on the grille?

I just keep my front plate in the door pocket and hope that I don't get stopped.

+1 if you don't draw a lot of attention you yourself. They'll usually leave you alone.

That is correct, I do not have any bracket. Its just a smooth black piece of plastic that runs the width of the grill. The link claims no drilling, however you drill a small hole underneath the lip of the piece I mentioned. The self tapping screw is supported by two pieces of 3M tape.

In all honesty that's a pretty cheesy way of going about it. Check eBay, sometimes you can get a good deal. Is it a black textured filler plate? Or a gloss black one? Maybe a member on here would be willing to trade their US plate bracket with you for your filler plate.

same here; installed the RS grill and determined that there wasn't a good spot anywhere on the front end to mount a plate AND look good at the same time. What i do is velcro the front plate to the grill with 2 small straps whenever i park on the street and i drive with it off.
