Headlights
I have adaptive HID headlights.
This Sucks! Both sides.=start
Do you have this issue? Did you fix this issue? =start
It doesn't appear to be water and it is inside, not out. Doesn't seem to affect the light quality, just looks ****ty! =start
I have had water inside, Audi dealer told me that it is normal. I have never in my life had a vehicle light with water inside, as it would not be normal.

Newbie here. I just got a 2013 TDI Prestige. The car came with the same issue with the headlights, all fogged up. Like you said, they don't look appealing at all and the headlights were one of the reasons I liked this model. Going to see how much is it to replace the HID headlights. Can we swap out those with a post-facelift ones.

It's 'headlight crazing', huge Audi wide problem a few years ago. Mine suffer from the same affliction. I've been thinking of changing them out, but just haven't gotten around to it. Its not something that can be buffed out either.

Some people on this forum have reported they saw this on their new Q7's within months of ownership. Is it likely that if I swap out the headlights with new OEMs, they would also suffer from this crazing phenomena? So any way to know if the new ones are immune to this? Maybe the face-lift headlights?

Myabe some good aftermarkets with halos?
Wonder if they could be buffed from the inside, of course, after cooking in oven and tearing apart!

It IS “ crazing” based on your photo. Many cases of it in older Audis like my 2001 TT Coupe. As stated. It cannot be buffed out. Our 2011 Q7 showed very little if any crazing at 6 years when it was bought back. Our 2015 Q7 and S5 headlights are both perfect. Good luck. Those headlights are $$$$.

If I purchase new OEM's from ebay, is the headlight assembly all I need to swap out or do I need anything else.
Can you someone suggest which one out of the two below (Bi-xenon or Tri-Xenon with AFS) would work on a 2013 TDI Prestige (with adaptive lights).

Those headlights are different, if your looking at the Tri-Xenon; you would need to verify your headlights have the extra controller.
Mine are tri-xenon; here are some pics from when I did a bulb change last year.
US Tri-xenon part numbers:
Left headlight: 4L0 941 003 AL
Right headlight: 4L0 941 004 AL
