Default Keys please

I guess we're not going to get any other keys to our 2008 CPO so it looks like I'll be paying for them. Is there a valet key in addition to the main switchblade key? Does anyone have any idea what these key(s) cost and if I can expect their programming cost to be additional at the dealer?

Standard is two keys plus the resin valet key.
The car and all keys have to get reprogrammed together via Service dept to Audi AG. They have to book time on the mothership so it can take hours. Couple of hundred bucks even if you get the new key somewhere cheap.

From my dealer:

#4F0-837-220-AG-INB driver key $172.90 plus $150.00 programming.
#4F0-837-185-INB valet key $94.50.

Does anybody know if this is fair pricing?

Guess I should have looked at the vendors here first.....

AudiUSAParts.com shows the driver ket for $113.75 and the valet key for $52.50. Is this place reliable?

First of all, we are very reliable Unfortunately due to security reasons we are unable to ship cut keys. Both keys can be ordered and cut to VIN but must be picked up in person (Portland Or.)with photo ID matching proof of ownership. Currently the two keys mentioned earlier in this thread can not be ordered as blanks from Audi. For now the only way to get the keys is cut to VIN from an Audi distribution center. I hope this clears things up.

Thanks to you 98 I did do this and AoA straightened it out, though they said the valet key was not included. I don't really care about it since it doesn't do anything other than keep someone out of the glovebox. This kind of info is exactly what I like about forums. Thanks again 98!
