There is a sensor on the driver's side of the steering rack. The cable clips with come loose and be cable with be rubbing on the driveshaft plastic boot until is snap. Once that happens impulse is not receive but the sensor to build up hydraulic present from speed signal. Not this sensor does not have electronic driver notification but tech can determine this by look at the values for hydraulic build up.

Once is that cable cut and rejoin for the is sufficient slag and also run cable and secure with cable ties for it not to come loose again. This happens in the first place because mechanics to do put back things exactly like it was factory design sadly.

Sorry lots of grammatical errors in my previous comments makes it difficult to understand.

There is a sensor on the driver's side of the steering rack. The cable clips to that cable will come loose and be cable will be freely rubbing on the driveshaft plastic boot until is snap or just one of the cable. Once that happens impulse is not receive for the sensor to build up hydraulic presssure for this is done by speed signal. This sensor does not have electronic driver notification (so no driver error on dash) but tech can determine this by look at the values for hydraulic build up given it is a mechanical powered steering wheel as opposed to electric.

Once you establish its that cable which will be obvious for the cable protection grinded away. Simply rejoin cable for there is sufficient slag and also run cable and secure with cable ties for it not to come loose again. This happens in the first place because mechanics to do put back things exactly like it was factory design sadly.
