Hi, picked up my ‘14 Q7 TDi last weekend. It ran beautifully, having been babied by the prior owner for its 33,000 miles. We knew it needed brake and rotors so I took it to the dealer today. Picked it up just before they closed, got on the road and suddenly there is insane cabin/suspension noise. Squeaking, creaking, it’s worse than my 14yr old Honda Pilot, worse than the ‘89 Citroen I drove back in the 90s with the famed suspension.... There is no way I’d have purchased the car if this noise had been present, so it must be a result of the work today. Any ideas on what is causing this, or if this is a normal side effect of b/r replacement?

I spent 4 years working for an auto manufacturer, looking for issues in brand new vehicles so I’m 100% confident this was not an oversight by me. I’ve clambered all through the trunk and middle row since I got home, looking for a culprit, nothing. I will call the AoA dealer first thing tomorrow but until then I was hoping for some online expert wisdom, if possible.

PS. Rear brakes and rotors were replaced only. Sound is not when braking or turning, it's on any bump/level change on road.
