Default Anyone ever get hassled over a Tune?

Looking to do a Malone Tune after the horrible recall. At the same time, I don't want to ruin the exrra 48k mile warranty.
Some people have said no one ever checks...
looking for real life experience.

As soon as you bring it in for any work at the dealer you'll be tagged as TD1 and Audi can, and most likely will, void your warranty.

This is the only reason which has prevented me from going with a tune. Do a search on TD1 and warranty claims and you'll see plenty of folks who've had to deal with it

Warranty Smwarranty.. if you delete the SCR/DPF and software deactivate the EGR the only thing you'll loose is the long block and turbo, which should both be fine til well after your warranty ends with regular maintenance.. of those the Turbo is the first to go and itd be a great excuse to put a bigger one in eh?

TD1 dont entirely void a warranty, basically only the longblock/turbo.. HPFP is still covered under a TD1 flag, and if you have a CPO warranty left it'd still cover anything non-powertrain related like heater cores, subwoofers, etc..
