Disabling TPMS question...
....
I 'attempted' to disable the TPMS display in the cluster with the VAGCOM.
I disabled it in the CANBUS section.
In the Instrument section, according to Ross-Tech, it is a +0016 to enable it. So I subtracted the 16 figuring that would disable it, but it did not take.
(The factory setting first four digits were 0264)
Is there something I am mis-interpreting here?

+0008 = Second Tire Size Pair
+0016 = Tire Pressure Monitoring

+0064 = Advanced Frontlighting System (AFS)
+0128 = Adaptive Cruse Control (ACC)
+0512 = Vehicle w/o Electronic Parking Brake (Standard)
+2048 = Switch Option for Bord Computer Levels

My TPMS posts the last 14 months: Good luck w/ your insurance company when you
have ANY kind of claim - their lawyers will love you for giving them a no payout slam dunk. WHO do think pushed the bill for the Fed law on TPMS and its disabling criteria?!
