Default First problem solved.... now second problem.

The problem encountered with the second row was fixed. Service department does not know what happened and what ultimately fixed it. But the second row works.

Second problem encountered. The Audi Side assist stopped functioning. Error message stated system failure. Took it to the dealer again and diagnosis is the module was not working. It needs replacement. They also have to figure out where the module is. Part ordered. Will await call and fix. Ya'all think it may be affected by lightning and thunderstorms?

Otherwise, I drove from Danville, Va to White Plains, NY via Charlottesville. Great drive and nice ride. Hopefully no further problems.

Default One of the Side Assist CPUs failed on our Q7 in the 1st 100miles of ownership. Dealer diagnosed and

replaced the CPU and the problem has not resurfaced in the ensuing 7 months. I'm sure that your dealer tech knows where the module is (behind the rear bumper cover).

Taking car to dealer tomorrow. Will let them know about your experience and where the cpu is.

Drove back to Danville from White Plains via I-81 this time. I enjoyed the drive.

Default Take photos of the rear bumper if you can as they couldn't get mine back in properly

it slightly juts out, but I will get another dealer to deal with.

Had the same problem as you and they had to replace the two raders and calibrate it - check they have the calibrating equipment or they will not be able to fix it.

I had to wait 1 month for them to find a dealer with the calibrating equipment.
