program heating remote
hi there. got a q7 2014 3l diesel in UK.
have managed to code on the auxiliary heating so timers are on and it's working.
have found a remote to buy , second hand,
can that be reprogrammed to my car ?
what is the procedure please?
any other hardware to get it to work?

Update: figured it out.
Used Ross-tech tool and software to enter the programming procedure.
Module 18 - adaptation, channel 4, new value 2. Then you have 5 seconds to program the remote by pressing the off button.
My friend have a "enthusiast" grade tool from Ross-tech its about 200usd with software.
