Default pulled the trigger....

Finalized the order yesterday on a 2011 3.0T S Line..Graphite Grey with Expresso..I'm still undecided on whether or not to go for the Sline interior pkg..$1500 seems like a lot of money for essentially a 3 spoke steering wheel with shift paddles(which are sweet as well as functional) and brushed aluminum inlays(which i can retrofit down the road). the black headliner doesn't do it for me either..I guess in the grand scheme of things, another $1500 is a drop in the bucket, right?! Dealer said it takes a few days for the order to get processed before I get the commission number, so i have until then to make up my mind on the Sline interior pkg.. It's a matter of preference, but how many of you went for the interior vs skipping it??

i agonized over the same thing, primarily because i preferred the light color head liner. As you say, you are essentially paying $1500 for teh 3 spoke wheel and teh paddles. In teh end i decided to go for teh S-line because i wanted the paddles and i also suspect that come time to move it on, it is more saleable with teh S-line pack

Have similar Q scheduled to arrive mid-March - gas S-line, graphite/espresso/adaptive air/sunroof delete. Skipped the S-line interior as I prefer espresso and wood trim. Second thoughts? Yes, after I read a recent poster who said he used the paddles more than he anticipated.

I picked the S Line interior, and absolutely love it. Initially I picked it mostly because you had to pick it to get the 21" wheel option. I wanted the whole sport look this vehicle could offer, and I must say that the sport interior completes it. The shift paddle is a plus but the steering wheel and aluminum inlay are great. The complete sports package makes me forget I am in a SUV. I wanted to go fast so I picked the S line 3.0T, and I must say the feeling in the cockpit is pretty sweet.

You can always have a paddle equipped wheel added later...

All very good points. No one picked up on my misspelling of 'espresso', huh?! I had the brushed aluminum in my A4 Avant and loved it. The thing that scares me is black headliner and espresso seats..if everything was black, I'd wouldn't have a problem, but the dark but different tones might not mesh well..I'm about to do a search for pics on AW now, but does anyone have espresso with SLine interior pics?
