Q7 VR6 high mileage

Where can you find a Q7 with a VR6? j/k... I'd say the 3.6, with proper maintenance, like
most any other Audi can do 300K. I've seen more than a handful with 300K+ on them.
I'd say definitely if it was a 5 cyl, but I'm biased. 8^)

Would be trading my 08 A4 for Q7
My 08 A4 is too low to ground, and am concerned with deep wet snow its ability to drive on unplowed roads. Yet I f I get Q7, to make it worthwhile I need to keep it 8 years at 320,000 miles. Do you think this motor & auto tranny combo can hold up without overhaul, like a diesel.

motor maybe, auto tranny...hmm... I don't know if the type of engine has anything to do with
the longevity potential of the transmission. A diesel easily has the potential to go that far, transmission might to if it was a manual. I'd possibly opt for a 6 speed allroad, but then you have air suspension issues to deal with (don't ask how I know!!)
I'd think any non-sport quattro with dedicated snows would get you almost anywhere. You'd be surprised at how they can get through snow that would otherwise stop the average 4x4.
