Default Tires for the Q7

I would like to use 295 45 20 on my q7 premium. This is not an s type nor do I want to purchase the S type finder flares. Has any one mounted a set of these tires this size over the OEM 275 45 20, just wondering if the larger size will fit and not stick out from the finder.

Read this and put yourself off the idea of fitting a 295 onto a 9J rim! You will also get speed and odo error but its all in there.
If you are in the EU you would invalidate your insurance by doing it. You would also risk prosecution for endangering other road users but I guess we are a little over the top that way. Anyway it would fail annual inspection so it would be a big expense for nothing.

More info on wheels than I have ever read before. Good info.

Re: 295, been running them on 20x9.5 wheels for a few years now. There are a few others running same size in Yokohama Parada Spec X. 20x9 or 20x9.5, not much of a diff. I run wider and or wider/taller tires on all my SUV's.

Re: endangering others, seems like a "little" bit of a stretch to me.
