Default Wheel Sensors TPMS Programming?

I installed a set of 22s and I think I have the right sensors. I get the TPMS warning even after setting up through the MMI. Are my sensors (used ones) bad/wrong? Do I need any additional programming?

Default Which sensors did you use? All you should need to do is use the MMI and select 'Change Wheels'

If you have a VAG-COM, you could log into the TPMS module to read the fault code and to look at the various adaptation channels to see if the system sees the sensors (and what the current tire pressure is set to).

Default Part #4F0-907-275-B

I purchased new sensors from the dealer (Part #4F0-907-275-B). They reprogrammed on the first try using MMI with no problems. See the following post for details and photo.

Default What is this part number you listed? (S122215001C). Beru OEM's the sensors, so

you don't actually have to use Audi parts (e.g. TireRack sells the compatible sensors if you buy your wheels from them)

I saw the post of the 4FO sensors and they are definitely not what I have. There are 2 numbers on the ones I have. The S # and 1KO 907 255C. I actually have the 4FO 907 275 B number written down on a piece of paper along with the 1KO #. I must have looked at my notes wrong and bought the wrong sensors. (such an Aggie) Anyone know where I can get the right ones for a good deal?

Default Not the correct part number. 1K0 denotes the MK V platform. The sensors are Siemens...

and are not compatible with the Beru system that that Q7 uses. Here's a picture (not mine) of the correct parts

To the OP: The dealer prices for the sensors borders on highway robbery. I was lucky enough to pickup the sensors + valve stems for pretty cheap on the Vortex classifieds (from a Touareg owner who couldn't use them). You could search through the various classifieds, buy from the dealer, live with the warning light or try to source Beru sensors independently. FWIW, Tire Rack will sell the sensors + valvestems for ~$280 if you also buy your wheels from them. I don't believe that they'll sell them separately.
