Audio Equalizer Settings reset themselves
Hello all,I’m running into a strange issue with the Audio Equalizer on my 2023 SQ7.
The car is currently on MMI version 4430, updated via vagupdate. According to them, this is the latest version available for the 2023 model year, since newer MMI versions require the updated telemetry module found in 2024+ models.
The problem is that the Equalizer settings keep resetting back to default after a few driving cycles. Treble, Bass, Subwoofer — basically everything in the EQ menu gets wiped and returned to stock settings.
I mainly use Spotify through CarPlay. I already had the vagupdate team look into it, and they installed a new audio dataset, but unfortunately that didn’t fix the issue.
I’m curious if this is something specific to MMI 4430, or if others on older versions have experienced the same behavior.
