Current MMI Software Version
Does anyone know what the most current MMI Software Version for the 2017 Q7 is? I have an early build 2017 Q7 running Software Version 0443 and while I know there are more recent software versions out there, I can't seem to find what the most recent version is.
My car was just at the dealer for its 20k service and I asked if they could update the MMI software but they said it would update automatically if the system showed it needed to be updated. Aside from some of the features that the newer build 2017 Q7's have, my Q7 occasionally displays traffic signs in their European format (i.e. speed limit surrounded by red circle) and CarPlay randomly disconnects.
Couldn't get the dealer to update the MMI software for me, and they couldn't (or wouldn't) even tell me what the most current version was.
If anyone knows the most current version I'd like to know, and also know if anyone has successfully been able to get the dealer to update their MMI software.

Do not get your hopes up for an update. I have yet to hear of any dealer updating the software for anyone here simply because we ask. Unfortunately they will tell you they are not authorized by AOA to do it. They need an official reason like a true faulty MMI or related. A customer requesting updated features does not qualify. I have asked more then once at two dealers that I have a very good relationship with and they still won’t do it. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. If anyone out there knows a trick to getting a “yes”, many here would like to know.

Did not work for me. I have seen the euro signs at least a dozen times since owning. It always goes away within a min less of driving or a restart of the car. Unless the dealer sees it, they will say MMI is working normal. Nearly impossible to duplicate the issue while at the dealership since is totally a random occuramce.

I also get the round Euro sign, but it lasts for just a few seconds before converting to U.S. It has the correct number on it (i.e. speed limit), so I've never been fussed.
OTOH, I often find that the MMI screen fails to keep up with each song as it changes in Spotify, Apple Music, etc. It will correctly show the first song but never changes after that. The song title is correct on the dash. Strange.
