First mod in progress
Lamin-X on the side marker lights. I forgot to take a "before" pic, but there's definitely a difference. I had them blacked out on my BMW and it looks great (IMHO), since the car is black. I couldn't find smoked side marker, so I thought this would help a little.

and starting the second....
Left taillight is complete. Will be doing the rest of the back today. Considering doing the headlights, but I may skip them. I'm using Lamin-X's lightest tint. Going in tomorrow to get the front window's tinted with Huper Optik Performa and the sunroof with Ceramic.

I like it - haven't driven it very much. I drive about 6 miles a day, so the longest drive (25 miles) was the one going home from the dealer.

Where did you purchase?
Were the applications pre-cut/measured?
Approximate cost?

Thanks! Answers:
- Lamin-x Protective Films : Headlight, Tail Light and Fog Light Protection
- Nope - too new a vehicle, they didn't have templates yet, so I bought two sheets of 18" x 36" (was possibly planning on doing the headlights)
- $100-110, assuming you're installing it yourself. You can also find authorized installers for the product, if you don't feel like doing it. It does require patience. I'd be happy to do it for you - I'll just want your 21" wheels in trade! LOL

Very cool. I love the side markers too. I hadn't even thought about doing those. Once I get my Q7 this will be my first mod, well physical mod. Most like will plug VCDS in as soon as I get it home.
